What you discribed are time/situation related conditions, artistical/curatorial
competences or marketing strategies, BUT NOT QUALITIES.

Why not? Some pieces of art can be fully functionally used for instance to
cover spots on the wall or to fill the space on the screen. Others provoke the real
interaction, just like Tracy Emin's bed as battlefield for chinese students.
