Stagiunea de Teatru Politic vÄ invitÄ la spectacolul
NU NE-AM NÄSCUT ÃN LOCUL POTRIVIT,
duminicÄ 12 ianuarie, ora 17.00, la SpaÈiul Platforma (Calea MoÈilor nr.
62-68, aproape de PiaÈa Sf. Gheorghe).

Spectacolul Nu ne-am nÄscut Ãn locul potrivit se bazeazÄ pe textul
documentar scris de Alice Monica Marinescu Èi David Schwartz Ãn 2011, care
a avut premiera la Baadisches Staatstheater din Karlsruhe Ãn iulie 2013.
Textul ÃmpleteÈte poveÈtile de viaÈÄ a 5 persoane care au trÄit experienÈa
refugiului cu fragmente din Ghidul de ObÈinere a CetÄÈeniei RomÃne pentru
CetÄÈeni StrÄini.
Spectacolul creeazÄ contextul favorabil pentru cunoaÅterea Åi ÃnÅelegerea
dinamicilor migraÈiei Èi refugiului, Èi ale statutului refugiaÅilor Åi
migranÅilor Ãn general. Spectacolul ÃÈi propune sÄ problematizeze Èi sÄ
discute Ãn sfera publicÄ aspecte de importanÈÄ fundamentalÄ Ãn contextul
global contemporan, precum lupta Ãmpotriva migraÅiei Ãn paralel cu nevoia
de migranÅi pentru dezvoltarea economiei capitaliste, nevoia de refugiu,
dreptul de a cÄlÄtori ca drept fundamental al tuturor, instrumentalizarea
âstrÄinuluiâ ca Èap ispÄÈitor pentru problemele sociale Èi economice.
Toate reprezentaÈiile sunt supratitrate Ãn limba englezÄ Èi arabÄ
(traducere de Bashar Al-Kishawi) Èi vor fi urmate de discuÈii cu publicul
despre situaÈia Èi istoriile refugiaÈilor Èi migranÈilor.

The Political Theatre Season invites you to:
BORN IN THE WRONG PLACE
Sunday, January 12, 17.00h, SpaÈiul Platforma (MoÈilor str. 62-68, close to
PiaÈa Sf. Gheorghe)

The performance Born in the Wrong Place is based on the documentary text
written by Alice Monica Marinescu and David Schwartz in 2011. The text had
its international premiere at Baadisches Staatstheater, Karlsruhe, Germany,
in July 2013. The play intertwines the life stories of 5 people who have
gone through the experience of seeking asylum with fragments from The Guide
to Obtaining Romanian Citizenship for Foreign Citizens.

The performance creates a favorable context for getting to know and
understand the dynamics of migration and asylum, and the status of refugees
and migrants in general. The performance aims to problematize and discuss
in the public sphere issues which are of crucial importance in the current
global context, issues such as the institutional fight against migration
taking place at the same time as the need for migrants in the development
of the capitalist economy grows, the need for asylum, the right to travel
as the fundamental right of every individual and the instrumentalization of
âthe foreignerâ as a scapegoat for social and economic issues.

All the shows will be translated into English and Arabic (made by Bashar
Al-Kishawi) and followed by discussions with the audience about the
situation and life stories of the refugees and migrants.
