part of the Prague Residency 2012 framework, the Center for Contemporary Art
FUTURA announces an open call for residency stays for young and emerging
visual artists, in the following organizations:****

PÅihlÃÅenà se na vÃce neÅ dvÄ destinace nenà moÅnà a nebude zohlednÄno. / **

Applicants may apply to two out of three offered residencies. Applications
for more than two destinations will not be considered. ****

- Rezidence jsou urÄeny ÄeskÃm umÄlcÅm, nebo umÄlcÅm, kteÅÃ dlouhodobÄ
pÅsobà na Äeskà vÃtvarnà scÃnÄ / ****

All residencies are geared for ether artist of Czech origin, or artists who
are based in the ****Czech** **Republic****.****

Åkol pracujÃcà s formou visuÃlnÃho umÄnà / ****

Applicants must be professional artists or university students who work in
the field of visual art.****

- DostateÄnà znalost AJ jazyka nutnà / Sufficient knowledge of English
language is vital.****

- VÃsledky vÃbÄrovÃho ÅÃzenà budou znÃmy nejpozdÄji do 19.9.2011.  V prvnÃm
kole bude odbornou komisà sloÅenou ze zÃstupcÅ FUTURY vybrÃno pÄt kandidÃtÅ
pro kaÅdou z destinacÃ. V druhÃm kole si kaÅdà z partnerskÃch institucÃ
z tÄchto pÄtic vybere jednoho umÄlce, kterà se zÃÄastnà rezidence v jejich
organizaci. O ÃÄasti na rezidenci budou umÄlci informovÃni osobnÄ. Vzhledem
k pÅedpoklÃdanà vÃÅi zÃjemcÅ budou kontaktovÃni pouze ti, kteÅà se dostanou
mezi prvnÃch 5 kandidÃtÅ a poslÃze ti, kteÅÃ jsou na rezidenci vybrÃni.
NeobdrÅÃte-li tedy ÅÃdnou zprÃvu do 19.9.2011, bohuÅel jste nebyli na
rezidenÄnà pobyt pro rok 2012 vybrÃni. KoneÄnà vÃsledky budou zveÅejnÄny na
webovÃch strÃnkÃch FUTURY / ****

Results of the open call will be announced by September 19th 2011 the
latest. In the first round five artists will be selected for every
destination by a committee of FUTURA deputies. In the second round,
respective organization will select their resident from the shortlist
provided. Selected artists will be informed via email. Due to the expected
high number of applicants, we will contact only artists who have been
shortlisted for one or more residencies. If you therefore donât here from us
before September 1st you have sadly not been selected. Results will be also
published on the FUTURA website.****
