[Nettime-ro] Regarding Manifesta Journal |
Dear Sirs! This is a letter from the assistant of Viktor Misiano. I was given your address by Mr. Vladimir Bulat. We are writing you concerning new magazine "Manifesta Journal". MJ is an international journal on contemporary art production and curatorial practice, based on the ideas and aims developed in the course of Manifesta's past years' activities. The main scope of MJ are the issues of curatorial work, its strategies, conditions, dilemmas, and contexts. MJ aims for curatorial self-reflection and self-examination. It pays particular attention to young curators and writers and to art theory emanating from those areas in Europe, which have customarily failed to attract the attention they deserve. MJ is developed by Viktor Misiano (Moscow) and Igor Zabel (Ljubljana) in tight collaboration with the International Foundation Manifesta in Amsterdam. It is open to inspiration and suggestions from all participants in the Manifesta Network. MJ is part of the Manifesta Network Programme and is co-funded by the Culture 2000 Framework of the European Commission. MJ will appear twice a year, in English language with occasional addition of a second language, where necessary. MJ will include participation of authors such as Boris Groys, Harald Szeemann, as well as former Manifesta curators and artists. MJ will be internationally distributed by Artimo, Amsterdam. We would like to ask you could it be interesting for you to receive this journal for replenishment of your library and for your work. Also please let us know what organizations or galleries could be interested in receiving MJ in your opinion. Hope to hear from you soon! With best regards and kind wishes Daria Beskina. _______________________________________________ Nettime-ro mailing list Nettime-ro@nettime.org http://amsterdam.nettime.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/nettime-ro --> arhiva: http://amsterdam.nettime.org/
