Dear Patrice -

While this is indeed an interesting piece of writing, it's not by
Vonnegut, but rather by a columnist for a Chicago newspaper. It's a
net.hoax that has yet to have been traced to its source. The columnist
herself has written about the odd choice of the hoaxster to assign credit
to Vonnegut and to claim it was a commencement address. Her response is
floating around on the Web somewhere, though I don't have any URLs for it.
