Geert Lovink's book "Dark Fiber: Tracking Critical Internet Culture" is
highlighted along with a pic of the cover in the MIT Press ad in this
week's New York Review of Books (July 18 cover date).

It has a blurb from Peter Lunenfeld saying, a "sterling work of radical
pragmitism [sic], the essays within pointing to a better and yes,
possible, future for network societies."

Congrats, Geert, this is something to look forward to. MIT Press has been
doing some interesting things lately (see for example Milton Mueller's new
blockbuster on the (mis)management of the Internet, "Ruling the Root," and
I've also been enjoying Sungook Hong's "Wireless" about the history of
Marconi).
