Jews and Palestinians are closely related?  Guess what?  Every human on earth is more genetically similar than two monkeys in the SAME tribe!  We all evolved from one family that left Africa about 80,000 years ago, a drip in the cosmological bucket.  White skin evolved in northern climates because black skin is so good at filtering out UV rays -- blacks in northern climes got rickets.  Yes, Jews and Palestinians are genetically almost identical, and so are Jews and Chinese, except for a handful of genes out of many millions.  The gene theme is not the point.  The fight is indeed over ideas.  Is it a blasphemy to have equality between men and women, or is it not, that sort of thing.  (Thanks t.)
