We knew Carl Loeffler personally.  met for the 1st time at the Art Com
office in san francisco 1991 (Van Ness street, If I am right>). we were
part of the same scene - which was a mixture of the artscene and the online
scene around the WELL. He had his email adress there, too, and a conference
-the art.com conf- running as well. We met online at the WELL
(ir)regularily.

If I remember right,  we did feature him at our CDROM "Virtual Reality as a
New Frontier" besides others, which we published in 1992,  together with
the german computer magazine CHIP, the Austrian Ministry of Science and
Culture, and Commodore Germany. It runs on the amiga system.

Furthermore did Carl have one or two station rose videos in his Art Com
distribution catalogue.

we met again over they years, either in san francsico or at german conferences.
Later on he moved to Carnegie Mellon university, and we lost a bit of
contact, besides email.
