Subject: INT'L FESTIVAL OF NEW FILM--call for entries

THE DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES AT SPLIT FILM FESTIVAL
IS JUNE 15TH 1998.

The festival is open to all new, creative, personal, radical,
experimental, subversive, etc. work (FILM, VIDEO & NEW MEDIA) of all
genres and lengths, preferably from outside the mainstream, whether it's
involving traditional film techniques or the latest technology of
electronic image.

The festival will present screenings of selected films and videos,
CD-ROMs, installations, web projects, performances, retrospectives,
special programmes, discussions and festival catalogue.

ALONG WITH SPECIAL MONEY PRIZES, THE FESTIVAL SCULPTURE (GRAND PRIX)
WILL BE AWARDED FOR EACH CATEGORY (FILM, VIDEO & NEW MEDIA) BY
INTERNATIONAL JURIES.
