Isabelle Schwarz writes:

Dear colleagues,

RE: Phare Project - Recruitment of a Project Manager for Macedonia

Within the framework of the PHARE project "Cultural Development in the
former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia", KulturKontakt in Vienna is
looking for a long-term expert to work as general project manager in
Macedonia (18 months on site probably starting in the second half of
1998).

"The immediate objectives of the programme are to strenghten the
capability of the Ministry of Culture and cultural institutions to
manage and sustain cultural activities and heritage in the context of
political and economic reform, to develop its ties with the EU
institutions both in cultural exchanges and in the conservation of
monuments and artefacts, and to realise the potential of its culture and
heritage in the development of the economy".

The candidate must originate from an EU member state and have ca. 15
years work experience and experience in Central and Eastern Europe,
notably in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.
