We have a web-site now, so you could easily check the
current (but still provisional) programme. Now it is called
'EasternAlternative', and the dates had been postponed to the autumn, most
likely between the 10th and the 20th of November, but not sure, could be
even in October, we are waiting for confirmation from the major venues.

It was created by Ventislav Zankov in Bulgaria, who also created for as a
brand new e-group. Info on the web-site. thanks Piroska Markus

We would like to inform you that there is a
new web-site and e-group for people who either live in Eastern Europe or in
West Europe (or anywhere else) and interested in Eastern European
alternative Culture - or if they are participating in creating it, they can
use it to contact each other, work out joint productions etc. There is a
newish organisation called Eastern European Circle which they can join, and
then can become part of this new e-group, created for members. Others who
have also joined this international network, are people (from E.E. or with
East European background) who work in the health and social care fields -
and there is a new organisation being establish in England called 'Eastern
Support'. More info about this new organisation, and about its planned
'Eastern Alternative' festival which will take place during next autumn (had
been postponed from May) can be found on the web-site:

We look forward to hear from you
