Freitag, 9. Mai 2003, 20 Uhr, Bootlab, Ziegelstrasse 20, Berlin-Mitte

Das Bootlab hat das Vergnuegen, alle potentiellen Beteiligten einzuladen zu
einem informellen aber konstituierenden ersten Treffen fuer das Juniradio
(http://juniradio.net). Juniradio wird, wie der Name schon sagt, ein Radio im
Juni sein, auf UKW und im Internet uebertragen, und soll von einer Vielzahl
lokaler wie internationaler Gruppen und Personen hergestellt werden.

Unsere Vermutung ist, das der Beginn eines solches Radios nicht durch das
Umschalten von ein paar Schaltern ausgeloest werden kann, sondern nur durch
einen freien und offenen kollektiven Prozess. Diesen Prozess zu initiieren ist
das Hauptanliegen des Treffens, das also nicht nur zur Vermittlung von Fakten
dienen soll, sondern auch zum Getraenke trinken und Herumhaengen gedacht ist.

Selbstverstaendlich werden wir einen kurzen Ueberblick ueber den derzeitigen
Stand des Projektes geben und auch fuer konkrete organisatorische oder
technische Fragen zur Verfuegung stehen. Vor allem aber interessiert uns die
Sammlung und Diskussion der bereits vorliegenden oder noch entstehenden Ideen
fuer Radiosendungen, so dass alle ein erstes Bild davon bekommen, was im Juni
unser--anscheinend ziemlich aussergewoehnliches--gemeinsames Programm sein wird.

Bootlab has the pleasure to invite all potential participants to an informal but
constituting first meeting about Juniradio (http://juniradio.net). Juniradio
will be, as the name says, a radio in June, on FM and on the internet, and is to
be produced by a variety of local and international groups and individuals.

Our assumption is that the creation of such a radio can not be initiated by
switching a couple of switches, but only by a free and open collective process.
To initiate this process is the main aim of the meeting, which thus will not
only be about facts, but also about drinking drinks and hanging around.

Of course we will give a short overview about the current state of the project
and also be available for specific production-related or technichal questions.
But above all, we are interested in the collection and discussion of existing or
developing ideas for radio shows, so that we everyone will get a first glimpse
of what will be our--apparently quite exceptional--common program this June.
