Annual OpenOffice.org international conference is taking place from 28. - 30. september at Slovenian coastal city of Koper. But since not everyone who is interested in the OpenOffice can be present, Cyberpipe has organized full media coverage of the conference using only free software. Cyberpipe has established a set of workflows that allow us to deliver everything from paper version of the newspaper to live video streams with free technologies. Used technologies include: - theora for video - vorbis for audio - Cinelerra as a non-linear video editor - Scribus, Inkscape & Gimp as true DTP platform - nanoblogger - icecast2 for video streaming - ffmpeg2theora for video streaming - and many, many more!
