[Nettime-nl] The Classroom with Marijke Hoogenboom

The professorship for Art and Public Space is proud to present:
The Classroom with:
Marijke Hoogenboom
Professor for Artistic Practice and Development
May 10th 2007
17.30
Gerrit Rietveld Academie
Marijke Hoogeboom?s lecture titled ?Models for now? will be a presentation in the form of a journey along inspirational places, people and initiatives that have been influential on her personal practice.
With this as a departure point the following questions shall be considered:
Can examples from the past (and present) serve to create new models for theatre making, schooling and developments across disciplines?
How and where do the spheres of performing arts, education and research connect? What are the spaces and practices in between?
Is there a way to represent them beyond discursive text?
Following the lecture there will be a discussion moderated by Pien Vrijhof, coordinator of the Theatre Department at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy.
