DIVERSE is the premier event in the world on all aspects of video and videoconferencing in education - teaching, research, management etc - including the convergence of these technologies with online technologies, and the emergence of new possibilities such as telepresence learning and teaching, interactive television, computer games techniques, and wireless and handheld access to live or archived moving images.

DIVERSE has established itself as a high quality event with excellent opportunities for formal and informal networking with some of the world's leading experts in the field. DIVERSE is always a very friendly, high quality event, and this year there is the attraction of accommodation on boats in Amsterdam harbour (or on land for those with a fear of water!) And of course Amsterdam is one of Europe's great destinations with much to see including the wonderful Van Gogh permanent exhibition.

So whatever your interest in video and/or videoconferencing, whether sophisticated or simply fit-for-purpose, this is the leading conference in the world. It attracts teachers, researchers, academics, learning technologists, support staff etc. Although it has a strong focus on higher education, staff from other education sectors, public and private, are very welcome to present or just attend. We guarantee you will not be disappointed.

4 keynotes speakers will share their insights during the conference:

-> Professor Steve Molyneux: director of the UK E-Learning Lab and Professor of Advanced Learning Technologies at the University of Wolverhampton;
-> Dr. Erik Huizer: director of business development for NOB Cross media facilities, professor Internet Applications at Twente University;
-> Professor James L. Morrison: Professor emeritus of Education, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Editor-in-Chief The Technology Source;
-> Professor Christopher O'Hagan: Learning Consultant Directorate University of Derby. Founder and chair of the DIVERSE network.

<< Over 25 parallel sessions and workshops presented by delegates from all over the world will complete the programme of this unique event >>

<< Please note the early bird discount is extended until May 20th. >>

Looking forward to seeing you in Amsterdam,

Chris O'Hagan
