The fax action took place at 21 - 03 - 2004 as part of Open Studio with
Frends event at PS 1, New York. A computer placed at Darko Fritzıs studio in
Amsterdam performed a pre-programmed fax-modem communication sending a fax
to Tomo Savic-Gecanıs studio in PS 1, New York.

The 4 meteres long fax message consists of a typographic image which reads
Œ204 NO CONTENTı, an internet error report meaning that server has received
the request but there is no information to send back.

This computer graphic is free of charge and copyleft [i.e. no copyright],
and can be reproduced in any analogue or digital form. Feel free to fax |
print | download | copy | paste it from the web-page.
