Registration for open competition in FLUXUS - International Film Festival at
Internet begins
The pioneer on line film festival in Brazil opens for international films
and web works in 2002

A new name, a new idea. Brasil Digital - Brazilian Film Festival at Internet
(www.brasildigital.org), in its 3rd edition, is now FLUXUS - INTERNATIONAL
FILM FESTIVAL AT INTERNET ( www.fluxusonline.com) . With a new name, the
Festival brings new senses and will receive works from all over the world.
And a new category (Interactiva) has been created: works made specifically
for the web (web art, media art and interactive works).

FLUXUS - INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL AT INTERNET is competitive, yearly,
interactive and totally on-line, using internet as media dissemination and
audiovisual media exhibition.
The Festival will accept works presented originally in any format (35 mm, 16
mm, 8 mm, VHS, HI-8, DV, Flash) and mixed formats too. Its 4 categories are
E-CINEMA (fiction and experimental), ANEMIC (animation), .DOC
(documentaries) and INTERACTIVA (web-art, media-art).

FLUXUS - INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL AT INTERNET is open to registrations
for its competitive event from the first (01) of August until the 17th of
September.

The name FLUXUS is a clear homage to the esthetic movement Fluxus - in the
60´s, this movement incorporated all forms of art.

WHO ARE ABLE TO SUBSCRIBE
To be eligible for the competition at FLUXUS - INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
AT INTERNET, works must follow the conditions:
 > Duration: up to maximum 15 minutes of running time.
 > Works finished in 2000/2001/2002.
 >  All categories accepted: documentary, fiction, experimental, animation,
web works.
 > Works presented originally in any format ( 35 mm, 16 mm, 8 mm, VHS, HI-8,
DV). Animations can also be done in the flash format and saved on a file
with the extension ".swf". Web art and media or interactive works can
present mixed media but must have its own URL at Internet.
 > Digital works ( in format files with extensions: ".avi"; ".mov"; ".rm" )
also will be accepted.
 > Institutional works and advertisement films will not be accepted.
 > Each entrant may submit a maximum of 3 ( three) works.

 > The entry fee is free
Registration procedures are simple and online. The entry form and regulation

AWARDS AND JURY
Awards will be given to 5 best films ( 1 selected and voted by the public´s
choice, 4 selected by the jury´s choice).
Prize consists of a trophy.
Another prizes could be created by of FLUXUS - INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
AT INTERNET´s organization.
The Jury
The Fluxus Online Jury - ( Professional Jury) - A group of professionals
from all areas related to film, video, animation and new media, will be
invited by Zeta Filmes to grant the best movie from each category. They will
watch the movies exclusively at Internet.
The Fluxus Popular Jury - The general public will vote in the Internet at
the best work exhibited during the festival to grant the public prize.
