<nettime> nettime folk in Seattle? |
Hello list! If any nettime folk are in Seattle (I know there are several) and are thinking WTO thoughts, this could be an excellent forum / discussion. Knute and Geov are both smart people and eager to hear input on what did and didn't work; I don't know Steve K. personally but his radio coverage is always interesting. (Two disclaimers: 1. I work for the Weekly, though I'm not on the panel [or even on the news staff]. 2. I also forwarded this message to the hacktivist list; I apologize to folks who have seen it twice now. That's it! No more!) Thanks for the bandwidth; hope to see some listfolk there -- Angela G. > >Seattle Weekly and KPLU Radio and City Club are sponsoring a panel >discussion of the media's coverage of the WTO, titled "WTO & the Media: >Did We Get the Story Right?" on Wednesday, December 15, from 7 - 8:30 >pm, at the Seneca Room in Town Hall, 1119 8th Avenue.
