Apr. 1999 (This is not a joke) Some people have already launched this idea as far as I know, never the less it isn't taken serious up to now. WHY NOT INVITE NELSON MANDELA AS PEACE MEDIATATOR FOR THE KOSOVO CRISES !!! I think the reason is clear, he is at least a person who is not involved in this situation so heavily. He is a world wide respected person and maybe he can establish a break through. Spread this idea around, talk about and give it further to anyperson you may think can be helpfull to realise this option, MIR SADA !!!! wam mir od mene, wam:-) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- WHY NOT NELSON MANDELA AS PEACE MEDIATOR IN KOSOVO - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Date: Fri, 2 Apr 1999 17:24:12 +0000 Subject: (Fwd) FW: Quote of the year ------- Forwarded Message Follows ------- "We may not have the means to stop it, but we have shown we have the will to try," Secretary General Javier Solana Tuesday 30 March 1999 -------------------------------------------------- In the same spirit, on April 1, MSNBC had a call-in poll: "Will Albanians thank us?" - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Go figure..... ivo - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Date: Fri, 2 Apr 1999 17:24:22 +0000 Subject: late edits Yugoslav Army and paramilitary units just "ethnically cleansed" Dragodan and Taslixhe neighbourhoods of the most populated Kosovo town of Prishtina (around a quarter of population lives there). Those two neighbourhoods are the highest points in the town. Now, Serbs can shell the rest of the town in surrender from there. You can read more about it from a reporter who continued to write his e-mail message up to the moment of eviction at http://www.iwpr.net By the end of the next week Albanians will be a minority in Kosovo with the current course of action. Veton Surroi, the editor of Koha Ditore and the possible civilian leader of eventually independent Kosovo, is now, reportedly, dead, killed while he was returning from a funeral for his lawyer friend. CNN did not report that yet waiting for confirmation (they were embarassed once by saying that two intelectuals were killed, and they weren't). Brittish Intelligence (the home of 007) has two interesting information to share with us: 1. Primakov received $ 800,000 from Saddam Hussein for various assistance. He must have been getting something from Milosevic, too - given his stern support for somebody who sided with the coup against Gorbacov some years ago. 2. Milosevic is planning a coup against Milo Djukanovic, the president of Montenegro. Djukanovic refused to expell foreign diplomats and to introduce mobilisation of people for the army and the state of emergency. His justice minister refused to answer the draft notice and invited the army to sue him. Meanwhile, in Belgrade three Americans are being put on trial before the military court. Even in Serbia they should be allowed a right to a lawyer: I will love to see who would fill those shoes. ivo - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Date: Fri, 2 Apr 1999 17:24:03 +0000 Subject: (Fwd) SEND AN E-MAIL TO MILOSEVIC Serbian hackers are overloading message boards and web sites with their crap.
