<nettime> naive question?


Dr. Future says a lot of interesting things in his mail - I particularly
agree with his identifying a too perfect Simulationism as redundant on
grounds that it becomes indistinguishable from its point of critique.
Especially now that Simulationism has become just another signifier of
sanctioned critical practice. Sometimes I think that the excessive focus
on the (economic/symbolic) 'conditions of oppression' makes them the only
available agenda. How can 'the conditions of deliverance' stand a chance
if they are always forged in the crucible of oppression?
