'Ideal space' is a new contemporary art exhibiting location
opening on Thursday, 26th June. The first exhibition consists of
installations by Darren Almond, Beth Derbyshire and Gary Perkins.
These video and sculptural works explore and associate elements
of natural/ physical forces with a focus on science fiction and
science fact. The resulting interpretations of scale and time
produce familiar, dream-like oddities.

This new gallery is an internet location which amalgamates a
physical and virtual environment, relating contemporary
visual arts with the information technology revolution.

A private view will take place on 26th June (6.00pm - 8.00pm) at:

                        backspace
                        Winchester Wharf
                        Clink St, London SE1
                        tel. 0171 2340804

'ideal space' is located at:

              http://www.backspace.org/ideal.space/

and will run from 26th June - 27th July.

Exhibitions will run on a monthly basis.
