But, hmm, really, Michael, 'to support'? Of course it isn't 'to support' -- 
it is merely a happenstance of synchronicity between random thoughtlessness 
and whatever got Bernie to his 'policy'.

By saying 'to support' is to make an implicit assumption that there is a 
rationale, a policy-dev process in Drumph's head. I think this is 
demonstrably not possible, except in the context of narcissistic 
self-survival/aggrandizement.

I also believe this type of 'engagement' is exactly where the Fourth & Fifth 
Estate went completely wrong in covering Drumph. It could well be that there 
are no 'effective' or 'organized' responses to the accession to power of 
Drumph-like figures. History suggests to me that evolutionary forces, not 
altruistic ones are the actual determinants in human history. Ready for a 
pruning of the intellectual gene-pool?

If HRC had won, her voters would have been home, complacent, consuming their 
own custom social media telling them that the violent demonstrations by 
Drumph supporters in Washington and across the Mid-West were tiny and of no 
consequence. And anyway, folks should stay barred in their homes because the 
demonstrators were heavily armed...

I wonder if neo-liberalism, democracy, socialism, or any of the rest of the 
short-form nouns describing the cesspool of wide-scale human relation have 
an effective response to the final takeover of an imperial 
cult-of-personality. Were any such processes interrupted historically except 
through violence (and that by competing imperators or their proxies!)...

Yes, Michael, it would appear so, superficially - but, as we all know,
there is not a sincere bone in his body. He likes power. His lust for
power is dangerously extremist, arbitrary, angry and embattled by
insecurity. 

He has nearly done away with neo-liberalism...it's business model
(Morlock)--and is replacing it with crony capitalism --a small group of
multi billionaires destined to profit. The product is oil. The oil is in
the ground of public land, Russian arctic land and indigenous peoples
land. They will rape and pillage until they get it and use the WH to
completely deregulate and negate any restrictions. It's more like a
heist than a Presidency.

What's the Russian perspective on Arctic  drilling? 

The "establishment" is divided and coping. Clintons at the swearing in.
40 Dems refusing to go. Many Dems voting for the feared and loathed
Cabinet.

It's all about DT as filtered for the alt-right by Bannon. Bannon wrote
the speech. He's pulling many strings. 

What remains to be seen is how much anti- constitutionality even his
voters can stand. 

And the press, how they will reject him or get on board and prostitute
themselves. 

I keep my fingers crossed and smile knowing that every time he revisits
TTower he will be met by furious NY protests.
