Thanks for this really insightful essay, I was not aware of the activities of Douglas Atkin, and, as a verbal critic of the "Share Economy" I am grateful for the hint.

A great report on the more practical aspects of the share economy (which is labelled here as the "gig economy" which is actually a more fitting term) was published by Fast Company a couple of weeks ago:
