It's true. If you find a copy of the World Radio-TV Handbook (WRTH), 
perhaps the largest US entry and one of the largest in the book, is that 
of Family Radio; in this country they broadcast all over the shortwave 
spectrum, drowning out other stations. They have to have a huge amount of 
money for this. You can pick them up world-wide.

Never underestimate the US for this kind of stuff, which often carries 
implicit violence within it.
