Re: <nettime> what makes a notable life? [wikipedia]

It never occurred to me to write my own profile in wikipedia, even though
they only put out a stub. Surely the main point here is biography as opposed
to autobiography. There must be many unscrupulous individuals who put up
their friends to write about them, but I didn't. I still like to imagine
that society will come to me in some form one day. But that depends also on
pushing what I have to say out there (not even mainly through the mass
media). I don't blame wikipedia for trying to keep up the notion of being
objective, however contradictory that turns out to be. It is not a vanity
press.
