I would say, since those nice guys are working for and payed by Cisco, and
this gives the direction of the project, it is an open source cisco
project.
I dont know enough of technic, SDL etc, to completely understand what
cisco is doing, all I know is that some people hate cisco for patching SDL
since this makes their favourite computer games fell. Elephants in
porcelain shops.
Anyway, I really like mp4player, since it supports mpeg video playlists,
even if they have the extension ".mxu" ;-) QT 6 doesnt.
But is this really the best choise we have today and in the next future?
