    Questionner les rapports entre localisation et globalisation.
    Un réseau global, celui des technologies de télécommunication et de
    surveillance implique un point de vue extérieur face aux événements,
    c'est un témoignage ou au mieux une anticipation. Il s'agit de voir et
    l¹oeil présuppose une extériorité, un regard vient de l'extérieur et va
    vers l'intérieur.
    Un réseau local est un terrain mouvant, malléable, en perpétuelle
    mutation, c'est une grille qui se définit de l'intérieur et va vers
    l'extérieur, elle modélise aussi ce qui l'entoure. On manipule des
    surfaces et la main est elle-même une surface, un moteur qui implique
    une prise directe sur le réel, elle extériorise les modalités de son
    action.
    Network_Network propose d'étudier cette relation entre le global et le
    local, entre la vision et la surface, entre l'intérieur et l'extérieur,
    entre deux types de réseaux qui se chevauchent et cohabitent.
    Quelles sont les différences fondamentales entre un réseau global et un
    réseau local ?
    Comment les événements sont-ils marqués par ces divergences et quelles
    en sont les marques ?
    C'est aussi un collage, une composition d'éléments, de fragments qui se
    rencontrent ici et dont l'ensemble est suffisamment minimaliste pour
    problématiser et questionner l'enjeu du réseau.
    Une chanson raconte une ville. Un terrain mouvant pivote sur un axe
    fixe. Des signaux, un langage codé, une ligne de fréquence sonore. Ce
    projet est une tentative, une expérimentation autour de l'événement
    marquant notre entrée dans le XXIe siècle.

    A global area network, that of technologies of telecommunication and
    monitoring implies a point of view external vis-a-vis with the events,
    it is a testimony or at best an anticipation. It is a question of seeing
    and the eye presupposes an exteriority, a glance comes from outside and
    goes towards the interior.
    A local area network is a ground moving, malleable, in perpetual
    transfer, it is a grid which is defined interior and goes towards
    outside, it models also what surrounds it. One handles surfaces and the
    hand is itself a surface, an engine which implies a direct catch on
    reality, it exteriorizes the methods of its action. Network_Network
    proposes to study this relation between the global area network and the
    local area network, the vision and the surface, the interior and the
    outside, two types of networks which overlap and cohabit.
    Which are the fundamental differences between a total network and a
    local area network ?
    How the events are marked by these divergences and which are the marks ?
    It is also a joining, a composition of elements, fragments which meet
    here and whose whole is sufficiently minimalist for questionning the
    stake of the network.
    A song tells a city. A moving ground swivels on a fixed axis. Signals, a
    coded language, a line of sound frequencies. This project is an attempt,
    an experimentation around the event marking our input in the 21st
    century.
