ah, an individual who understands the manovich database school, yet not why i compare the closure of soft cinema stuff to tv news formats, 60s american nuke plant database system research, and right on up to the retrograde soft cinema.

it changed with the net and the 90s heiko, update your database. actually dadabase is a good start, and dada is and was an absurdist critique of power, as an art and literature movement in the first place.

no question but like many he was not alone at the time. there were many initiatives in the mid-90s and Thomax from Berlin is a terrific example. Like his stuff a lot too. early, clear, modest and subversive.

on my desk in my painting room there is a machine with a project some students are working on. it's zope wiki and one can use html or structured text.
