Lang Hall, Hunter College 68th Street at Lexington Hunter North , 4th Floor, Rm 424 Free/ refreshments will be served, for more info: 212.772.4949 Presented by Andrea Polli G.H.Hovagimyan is a radical conceptual artist who has written about art for Manhattan File magazine and ArtNet. His videos have been shown at the MOMA and New Museum in New York. He received national attention for his controversial "Hey Bozo...Use Billboard" for the New York MTA. His recent works operate in hybrid areas between networked performance, interactive installation and sound art. He has exhibited work throughout the USA and France, including Eyebeam Atelier, Franklin Furnace, and the Musee D'Art Contemporain, Marseille. "Part of our overall structure in previous works (Talker Talker, A SoaPOPera for Laptops, Exercises in Talking, The Last Noel Avant L'An 2000) has been to use media driven language...In a certain sense these media forms suffer a never ending drive for uniqueness of expression.
