[Nettime-bold] Forged message "orthodox"

On Tuesday 10th April 2001, 12:32pm GMT, a message was posted to multiple
addresses and mailing lists, apprently from ade@stub.org with the subject
"orthodox". The message also contained a doctored photograph.

This message was a forgery, originating from user opencam on opencam.net
[128.121.228.170]. As administrator for all mail activity on VX-Labs, and
consequently the administrator for the stub.org domain, I am urging for
the strongest possible action to prevent this from happening again. Our
users will not tolerate their addresses being forged.

To the administrators of the machines that were used in the forgery of
this email, please be aware that this activity is taking place on your
network. Any action you can take to ensure your systems are not abused in
this manner would be most appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.

Warmest Regards,

OVERLORD.vx-labs
root@vx-labs.org
