I've joined a new list: The bababradha group. I think I'm going hare
krishna. I think Jesus was on a drunk, a bad one, when he dictated the
Gospel of Thomas (online now).

I was just watching the Men's NCAA final game, Duke won. Now I was hoping
one of the players would use his seconds on camera to say "I object to
sweatshops making college apparel." That would have been a great way to use
the seconds. But they feel they are part of something perfect: personal
achievement, a community that loves and admires them, and a prosperous
future. Shane Battier, star for Duke, said studying the New Testament as a
freshman "sparked" something inside him. Perhaps it is inappropriate to
mention sweatshops at such a euphoric time, even though I've been euphoric
dozens of times, just not on TV. Well, once on TV.

In any event, selfishness cannot be tolerated. The old will make way for the
new. I agree with nn that the future needed one origin. Her ideas regarding
math and science are very challenging and worthwhile, and they apply directly
to literature. Hate the sin and love the sinner. It is certainly not the
object of Genius 2000 to harm people, even if only psychologically. I would
like for Genius 2000 to harm their prejudices, their complacency, their
depression, their weakness; but not their basic love of life. And sometimes
hurting someone's image values concurrently extinguishes their desire to
live.

Therefore, I tell you without regret--a tear of sadness, but not
remorse--that I was not at the HHH metrodome tonight to throw Genius 2000
tickets all over the place, or brandish my black and white satire swords, or
even run on the court to hug Mike Kryczewski. I went to my last day of cable
TV training, and now I get to have my own free show. Who says an underground
idea can't take over the world? My knowledge of corporate narrative and how
it utilizes media to enslave humans is nonpareil; what is most unusual is
that I offer the solution, escape, antidote for free.

It may be necessary at this point to argue against Genius 2000. After all,
its beneficence to humanity has not yet been shown, and future projections
are unproven. I myself will argue many points against Genius 2000 this
month.

By the end of this April, we will all know whether Genius 2000 is a good
thing or a bad thing, a thing of value or a thing of no value, a living thing
or a dead thing.

Objection One: Max Herman overestimates his own abilities. (Debate)
Objection Two: Many people's minds cannot be changed quickly and
simultaneously.
Objection Three: What about the threat of a new imperialism of cognition?
Objection Four: It is impossible to communicate Genius 2000 to anyone.

Congratulations Blue Devils,

Max Herman
