[Nettime-bold] the end of thriller

OK, they really got him now.
Early in the morning, on the 1st of April, rebelled citizen Slobodan
Milosevic decided to surrender with no resistance. Six police cars and
jeeps have taken him to the Belgrade Central Jail.
There was some shooting in the residence yard while the police was
arresting Sinisa Vucinic, self-proclaimed commander of Milosevic's
private guard, but it seems that nobody was shot. And it's possible that
it was Marija Milosevic, notorious ex-president's daughter, who was
shooting.
A few hours ago, several hundred of Milosevic supporters were removed
and dispersed without the use of force. Before that, they had harsh
fight with the similar number of passionate Otpor members and football
fans.
For the first time Otpor and the police were at the same side.
It seems that Sunday will be the party day in Belgrade. And somewhere
else.
