[Nettime-bold] Call for participation

WEBCAST LOUNGE
at Art Frankfurt
April 27th - May 1st 2001
curated and designed by Station Rose/STR
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Station Rose (Elisa Rose & Gary Danner) will create and curate their project
Webcast Lounge for the first time at this year´s Art Frankfurt. The Webcast
Lounge is the first event at an international art fair to expose art in the net
which has been chosen and proposed by the artists themselves.
It is planned to show most of the projects online, but also to invite artists
to present their work in the Lounge.

The Lounge:

Webcasts will be the major part of the audio-visual installation inside a
110m2 booth at the fair. Visitors will have the opportunity to attend
live webcasts or simply relax in the Lounge and watch archived webcast files
and the flowmotion of the installation while listening to changing soundloops
over the P.A.
