As part of the film and video event, Dnet <http://www.lux.org.uk> in
London 19 - 21 October, the Lux Centre and r a d i o q u a l i a are
programming net.video on the Lux gallery's windows.
net.video will be exploded into projected video, as the r a d i o q u
a l i a timetabling mechanism, 'The Frequency Clock' enables the
automated programming of online videos on-site in London.

The programme is primarily comprised of works featured in Dnet, and
selections from the Lux Centre's Film and Video Collection. Works by
British artists Simon Pummell, Tim Macmillen, Michael Maziere, Oliver
Harrison, John Parry, Devlin Crow and many others, will be featured
in this special programme.
Users of the internet can also contribute to the programme by
contacting the organisers. For instructions on how to participate in
this collaboratively programmed street projection experience, email:
<fc@lux.org.uk>. Internet producers can put their Real Video files
directly on to the streets of London through the specially developed
Lux Frequency Clock website: <http://www.mymediaschedule.com/lux>
If you have a documentary, a home movie, an online artwork, or
anything else which moves and is saved as an .rm file, then this is
your opportunity to have it screened on the gallery windows of the
Lux Centre.
r a d i o q u a l i a have also developed a customised player, The
Lux Player, which will play the specially developed Dnet programme
for internet users. Internet audiences can view the Dnet programme
as it happens on-site,from the internet. The Lux Player is
downloadable from:

be downloaded and installed for PCs running Windows.
