LMCC Open Studio Weekend
April 28-30, 2006

Now with the largest residency in New York City, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council celebrates the culmination of their signature Workspace Residency and one-time emergency Gulf Coast Residency by opening the studios to the public with walking and studio tours, parties, performances, screenings, and readings.  RSVP for all events is recommended. Free shuttles opening night.


SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Friday, April 28
7-10pm – Opening and Reception at 120 Broadway and 200 Hudson
6:30-9:30pm – various music, poetry and dance performances at 200 Hudson

Saturday, April 29
1-6pm – General Admission at 120 Broadway and 200 Hudson
3-4pm – “From Wall to Canal,” walking tour with Robert Kaufman at 120 Broadway
5pm – Screening: Various Workspace and Gulf Coast artists in residents at 200 Hudson
6pm – El Conquistador vs. The Invisible Man with Shaun Leonardo at 120 Broadway

Sunday, April 30
1-6pm – General Admission at 120 Broadway and 200 Hudson
5pm – Last Acts: Reading and Performance at 120 Broadway, 8th floor. Reading by writers Marcella Durand and Edwin Torres followed by a live music performance by Bernard Pearce
2-3pm – Complimentary coffee and donuts at 200 Hudson


DIRECTIONS
120 Broadway is in the Financial District between Nassau and Pine Streets.  Take the 2,3 to Wall St; 4,5 to Wall St. Space donated by Silverstein Properties, Inc.
200 Hudson is in Tribeca between Vestry and Canal Streets.  Take the 1, A,C to Canal St; Space donated by Trinity Real Estate.
